About Our Founder

Alice Miyagawa has loved the sound of well-tuned keys since a young age - harmoniums, pipe organs, pianos, accordians, synths... She began piano tuition aged five and has a passionate love affair with playing keys and singing her heart out.

Alice is a musician, sound therapist, and teacher of harmonium, vocal pedagogy, singing, mantra meditation and chanting. As a queen of vocal harmonies, she appreciates the harmonium as a solid support tool for singing accompaniment, as well as a stunning stand out instrument for keyboard solos and ensemble fusion.

She comes from a literature, art, and design background and works hard to ensure that all harmoniums she sells are designed, engineered, constructed, and refined to the highest quality standards by professionally trained craftspeople and artisans.

After production, international shipping, and quality control checks, the final stage is to refine and tune each harmonium. This ensures that customers receive their beautiful instruments in the best possible condition to share music in ways that nourish and uplift, providing the pleasure of positive heart medicine for all.
